Conduct quality checks on work performed
Perform scheduled maintenance
Maintain close working relationship with parts personnel and service writers
Perform all service right the first time
Complete repairs within the specified times
Advise service writer of diagnosis, needed repairs, and cost estimate
Advise service writer when additional work is needed on a customer's boat
Establish and maintain an effective and cooperative working relationship with all dealership personnel
Provide service writer with accurate reports of time and work performed
Maintain dealership equipment to ensure good working order
Conserve shop supplies as appropriate
Follow safety rules and regulations
Keep work area neat, clean and organized at all times
Keep tools clean and store properly after use
Wear required personal protective equipment
Keep up to date on latest technical service bulletins, etc.
Accurately and neatly indicate work completed and time spent to repair order
Properly tag all warranty parts
Keep all equipment in good repair and working order
Advise service manager regarding new equipment needed or equipment in need of repair
Must have 2 years experience and a certification on boat mechanics
